Dr Alex Hashemi

Alex’s career in dentistry started after he graduated from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden in 1993.

Having spent his initial time training as a postgraduate in the Eskilstuna Hospital in Sweden he worked in Several departments including Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Orthodontics and Department of Restorative Dentistry. His education continued throughout the 1990’s and he enjoyed success with a number of courses including Orthopaedics, Implant and Restorative disciplines and gained a diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.

In 2012 he successfully completed an MSc in Restorative Dentistry and in addition to general dentistry with special interest in full mouth rehabilitation/restoration and implant dentistry .

He is currently involved in the research and studying leading to a master degree in Implantology at university of Madrid. 

Alex is a member of the ICOI – International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the 
ADI – The Association of Dental Implantology

He is the founder of confident smile dental practices in London and surrey. He has been involved with implant dentistry for the past 20 years as special interest and attended many international congresses and following themost influential lecturers in implantology over the past 22 years. He is also visiting other practices as dentist with special interest in implantology to place and restore their complex cases.
