Specialists in aligning your smile

Orthodontic treatments in Shepperton, Surrey like traditional braces and Invisalign® correct crowded or crooked teeth. This is more than aesthetics – there are many other reasons why properly aligned teeth can improve your general wellbeing.

WHAT IS AN ORTHODONTIST?

Your orthodontic specialist will recommend the best option for you after carefully assessing the condition of your teeth and mouth. Treatment options for adults and children may vary, including fixed braces, removable appliances, clear aligners, and more. Occasionally orthodontics is combined with oral surgery for optimal results.

Braces

  • Metal brackets and wires, there are a range of different braces options available

Ceramic Braces

  • Like metal braces, tooth-coloured or clear brackets are used as their appearance is less obvious.

Lingual Braces

  • Similar to the traditional metal braces, the brackets and wires are placed on the inside surface of the teeth where they are not visible.

Invisalign®

  • Invisalign® treatment uses a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners to move your teeth in small increments gradually. A new aligner is provided approximately every two weeks.

EDUCATION

Over the years, modern and digital technology has revolutionized how your specialist orthodontist can straighten your teeth.

Apart from making your teeth look great, there are also important functional reasons for straightening teeth:

  • Crowded and crooked teeth are hard to clean, which can, in turn, cause a range of problems in the future.
  • Very prominent teeth can be more at risk from traumatic injuries. Orthodontics can move teeth into an ideal position to the lips to better protect them and improve the facial profile.
  • Jaws and teeth in correct alignment function better, and individual teeth are not subject to excessive biting forces.

Consult an orthodontist if you are concerned about your or your child’s teeth.
