Missing Teeth? We can help fill the gap!
We know that everyone loves a full, healthy looking smile. It helps you to live life confidently. Our mouths are like bookcases, each tooth holds the next up. Missing teeth are common amongst our younger patients due to their baby teeth falling out to make way for the adult set of teeth. However, it is in adult cases that missing teeth can cause you to have issues with chewing and often speaking. There are a few different ways we can restore missing teeth, these include dental implants, fixed bridges, removable or implant dentures.
TREATMENT OPTIONS
DENTAL IMPLANTS
Whether you need a single tooth or several teeth in different areas of your mouth replaced, a dental implant might be the right option for you. A dental implant is an artificial tooth replacement on a permanent base.
With this dental procedure, an implant (also known as a screw or titanium root) is surgically placed into your jaw and a replacement crown is placed on top. These implants are designed to look and feel as close to your natural teeth as possible without affecting surrounding teeth
IMPLANT DENTURES
While regular dentures are replacement teeth that are removable and rest on the gums, implant dentures are secured and attached in place by implants in your jaw. This treatment is suitable if you don’t have any teeth in the jaws but enough bone in the jaw to support the implants.
FIXED BRIDGE
Missing one or more teeth in the same area? A fixed bridge might be the treatment for you. This bridges the gap from a missing tooth or even teeth, the artificial tooth is supported by the surrounding natural teeth and bonded with dental cement. A fixed dental bridge is created to look like your natural teeth.
